What's under the toga?

More of my past posts were about graduation, forgive me for that. :) This post would be my first "outfit post". HAHAHA! :)))

I would just like to share what I wore during graduation, the outfit that's hidden under that black toga. :)

 After the graduation ceremony, we had lunch at Aristocrat. Together with my mom, dad, ate Rocky, Kuya Jun, Dempsey & Nyel. :)

This was a month ago, but I just wanna share it. Since I just made this blog, expect that there would be late posts. :) So, our dad celebrated his birthday last May 23 and as a gift to him we stayed at Holiday Inn. It was just a simple celebration with the whole family but we all had a great time. Nothing beats spending a day or two with the family. I always look forward to such events. There, another year was added to dad's life and we're all thankful for that. Cheers to more years ahead! :)

Animo La Salle!

Last June 15, 2012, I went to De La Salle University. Exactly 6 days after graduating (parang ang tagal di ba? hahaha!). I was there because I wasn't busy, that's why I joined my other batchmates for the Centennial Closing Celebration. I always enjoy going to such events and right there and then I realized that I will miss attending these events. And because I went to DLSU, I was able to see the newest building and it was great! High ceiling pa ang ground floor. Taray! :))) The program was held at the grounds of the newest building, even the stage was great! Pinaghandaan talaga. :) Hindi ko man lang naabutan ang bagong building. Okay na din yun. I don't want to extend. Hahaha! Well, I will surely miss this school. Just the school, not the studying part. :))) But even if I'm not studying there anymore, one thing is for sure. I'll still try to watch UAAP games and support DLSU. Animo La Salle! :)

Best Three Years.

A very important event just happened in my life. It was two weeks ago when I finally graduated with the course in BS-Biology. I actually graduated a year earlier when compared to other schools with the same course. It was because in DLSU, it is a trimester which makes it a lot shorter but faster too in terms of the things we're studying. This was actually one of the reasons why I chose La Salle to be my school. Not because I'm too lazy for a four year course but because I know after taking up this course, I will have so many years more for med school. By the way, DLSU is my dream school.

I felt really happy that I was able to graduate on time. I must say, Biology is not an easy course. Really. It's actually hard. Studying all night, lacking sleep, having eye bags, reading so many books, writing papers, skipping meals and having no time to go out. Everything was worth it and now I'm actually a college graduate. Wow! Time really flies. I can still clearly remember our graduation back in high school. I may not have the same awards that I had back then, still I'm proud that I graduated and for me that's more than enough. In high school, I was the type of student who's really conscious of her grades. To the point that I wanted all of my grades to be 90+. Luckily, I was able to achieve that when I was still in high school. But during college, it was only then that I learned that grades are just grades. And I'm not saying this just because I experienced having low grades but because I really do believe in that. Grades may define our standing in a certain subject but it will not define our total identity. Bad grades may be because I didn't study or I didn't remember what I studied but that won't mean that that will always be the case. There will always be a room for improvement and that's another thing I learned in college. 

College has been a roller coaster ride for me for I experienced so many things here. May it be good or bad, through ups and downs. I learned that much in college and not just only on the subjects that I took but also on my mere stay at De La Salle University. In this institution, I was able to know myself better and I was able to improve myself. 

In college, I gained friends, I had favorite subjects and I have those that I really hate. I had good and bad grades. I had great professors and some that are not that great. I learned to love my course. I had crushes. I had different organizations which became my family in school. It was also in college that I learned how to go to parties at night. It was in college that I had my first sip of an alcoholic beverage (And I didn't like it). There were a lot of firsts in college. Things that I would never forget and will forever remember. College may not be the same as high school but I believe that it is in college where we were fully prepared to go on with another step in our life.

Random Facts.

And because I'm still wide awake, I decided to write at 4:30 am :) What a perfect time to write hahaha.

So what will I write? About what? Can I tell you something about myself?  Well, if it's okay with you then I would just be sharing some random facts about me. I'll only share things that are worth reading. (Naks!) Things that are interesting. I just hope they are also interesting for you. :) I'll actually do it in a bullet form, that's much easier to read with slight side comments/explanations. :)

WARNING: This will be a Taglish blog. HAHAHA.

• Favorite color: purple (very slam book type but I just need to share this one)  - I think everyone I know knows that. It's pretty obvious.
• I play the piano, guitar, flute and lyre. - But I'm not good with all of that, I just know how to play them.
• Before, I was fond of reading books. (Ewan ko na lang anong nangyari :|)
• I enjoy watching television. - Kahit ilang oras pa yan! :) Keri. :)
• I'm shy (Yung tipong masyadong mahinhin daw). - And yes, that will always be the first impression of me. But trust me, I'm not. E siyempre. At first, you would really be shy. Pero pag tumagal, pag nasanay na, mawawala din yun! :)))
• I'm really talkative. - Especially if we're close! You'll know that. Lagi akong may kwento kapag close talaga tayo. At alam mo ding may pagkamakulit din ako. :D
• Nambabara. - Feeling ko alam ng mga nakakakilala sakin na ganito talaga ko. Pero hindi naman yung tipong sobrang nakakabastos, saktong pang-inis lang. Hahahaha. 
• I love to dress up. - Hindi man halata sa school, kahit na araw-araw kaming naka-civilian. Dahil ito sa tamad akong mag-ayos ng umagang-umaga. Pero kapag may event o kaya may lakad talaga, dun ako mag-aayos talaga ng susuotin. Porma kung porma. Fashion kung fashion ang usapan. :)
• Addicted to rings. - Sa mga accessories, yun talaga ang favorite ko.
• I like wearing heels. - Trip ko 'to, lalo na kapag may event. Feeling beauty queen lang sa tangkad. :)
• I love gummy bears. - Yun lang, walang explanation. 
• I daydream a lot. - Ewan ko din bakit, pero sa mga times lang naman na walang ginagawa. Pero sa class, never ako nagdaydream. Promise! :D 
• I enjoy watching local movies and shows. - Gusto ko e, nakakatuwa naman :) Try niyo. Wag puro foreign. :)  Pero siyempre, nanonood pa din ako ng foreign movies and shows. :)
• Jologs daw ako. - Yan ang minsang sinasabi sakin dahil nga mahilig ako manood ng local movies and shows. E bakit ba, support your own. :) 
• (Dahil nga mahilig ako manood ng local shows) Nagagandahan ako kay Kathryn Bernardo at Sarah Geronimo. - Masabi lang. Haha. What is random? Ang galing pa umarte ni Kath at ang galing naman kumanta ni Sarah. Ang bait pa. (close kami e. Chos.) :)))
• (Dahil nanonood pa din ako ng foreign shows) I'll always be a fan of Hillary Duff. - I love Lizzie Mcguire. I watched all her movies. Enough said.
• I love to eat. - Sobrang takaw ko at ang lakas ko pa sa kanin. Kahit hindi halata.
• Utak sa bulalo. - Favorite ko 'to sa bulalo. Makikipag-agawan ako para dito. Hahaha!
• Puso. - Sa mga ulam, ang atay laging may kakabit na puso, at yun ang gustong gusto ko. Ako lang ata mahilig dito? :D
• I'm vain. - And yes, I'm proud of that hahaha. I don't know why but I just love taking pictures. :)
• NBSB.(Alam niyo na meaning niyan) - My choice & my parents' choice. Darating din naman kasi yan, sa tamang panahon. Yes, gumaganon. Parang ang daming alam. 
• Crush ko si Sam Concepcion at Enrique Gil. - Hahaha. Alam naman ng lahat e. Hahahahahahahaha. *landi mode* Feeling ko nga alam din ni Sam. Kahiya. Haha. :))))
• Gusto kong mameet si Enrique Gil!(Nameet ko na si Sam e) - Trip ko lang, bakit ba? =)))))
• I love watching basketball.(Whether it's NBA, PBA, UAAP, NCAA o pa-liga pa sa barangay) - Dahil na din sa impluwensiya ng aking mga kapatid na lalaki. Nakakaenjoy kasi manood. :) Yung tipong mapapatalon at mapapasigaw ka pa. Saya!
• I enjoy watching volleyball. - Lately na lang 'to.
• OC at times. - Minsan lumalabas ang pagka-OC sa mga bagay-bagay. Gusto ko lahat maayos at malinis. Take note: MINSAN. :)) Pero gusto ko laging maayos sulat ko. :)
• Sobrang tagal maligo. - Yup! Sobra. Lalo na kapag hindi nagmamadali. Minsan, kahit minamadali ko na ang paliligo hindi ko kaya. Umaabot pa din ako ng 30 minutes.
• Moody. - Minsan lang naman. Minsan lang.
• Friendly. - Inassume ko talaga. Oo, friendly ako :)
• Madali akong kausap. - Trust me. 
• Always happy. - Sinusubukang laging maging masaya kahit may problema. Smile lang :)
• Sensitive at times. - Minsan talaga nagiging sensitive ako, yung tipong madaling maiyak. 
• I love watching Phineas and Ferb. - "It's a hundred and four days of summer vacation, and the school comes along just to end it!" Just imagine me singing haha!
• Random. - Just like this post.

Evolution of names.

    

Do you know that I really like my name? Even if my second name is too common, I definitely believe that my first name is kinda unique. It's actually a combination of my parents' name. My mom's name is Susan then my dad's name is Rolly and when they combined their name, they got Rosanne. Well, they changed the spelling at the end which made it more unique. So unique that a lot of people are making mistakes when writing it. Boo. :( I'm already used to it anyways. I like my first name but that's not what most people call me, I don't know why but I find it too formal when people call me Rosanne. It's actually my professors who call me that, well during first days only. I would tell them to just call me Bianca. But my real nickname is Robi 'coz my full name is Rosanne Bianca, so I'm guessing you now know why Robi is my nickname. Only a few people know what my real nickname is, only those people who are close to me and those who asked. My family does not really call me Robi but instead they made it shorter, that's why they are calling me Rob. Then there would be times that they would call me Rob-rob. And I don't know the reason why they're calling me that. Why? Haha. 

Anyway, that's what they call me at home. But in school, Bianca is my name. On every first day of school introduction, that's what I'm telling my classmates. I really don't know why but I find Robi or Rob too manly. Or maybe because I know people who have that name that are guys. Hmm.. That could be it. So I sticked with the name Bianca at school. 

And you know what, there's a sudden change with what my family calls me. They now call me Bianca because they knew that that's what I wanted to be called. Yes! But there would times that I miss being called Rob or Rob-rob. Well, I still have a few relatives that calls me that and I would like it to stay that way. :) Oh, and I forgot something, there are two people (that I remember) who still calls me Robi. And guess who they are? :)))) My two ninangs (godmothers)!  When they have a gift for me, on the card it always says Robi. How cute. Hahaha. That just means that they haven't changed. :) I'll take it as a good thing. :)

Blogging.

    Again. I finally decided to make my own personal blog. Yes, finally! :D So, what will I put it this blog? All about my personal life and I think there would be times that I'll be posting about national issues or other important matters. Things that would seem worthy to blog. (wow, gumaganon!) Haha. And, I would like to say that this blog is not that "formal". As you can see, there are even side comments. And not everything will be in English. Iba pa din kapag Filipino. Mas madaling sabihin at maintindihan. :) So, there. I will not be using deep English words in this blog all the time or most of the time 'coz I'm not really a writer-writer, if you know what I mean. Just a girl trying to express her feelings and to share what she's up to. :)

    I was thinking whether to make an account in wordpress or here in blogspot...

    And yes! I just made an account here (well, I already made an account in wordpress, then just deleted it-it just lasted for hours)  :) Its been a while since I started thinking of making my own blog site. I've been writing for quite some time now, from multiply to tumblr. I've made several blog entries on those social networking sites already and it is just this time that I'll be making blog entries on a site like this and I'm looking forward to it. :)

    I do enjoy writing 'coz I think it's through writing that I can really express myself. There are just some things that are easier to be written that to be said orally. (okay, binago ko ang totoong saying. Bakit ba?) Hahaha. Anyway, as I said I really enjoy writing about my everyday life. In multiply & tumblr, I do make blog entries but I'm guessing it would be different here. Here, I would just be writing and writing, all about me and what's happening around me. In multiply, it was sort of the same but its more of a social networking site. In  tumblr, it's also a social networking site and in there I get to reblog most of the time. So here, I would be posting a lot about my life. Well, hopefully, that's what I'm planning to do. :)
