Amazing :D

I'll be sharing another song and it's another OPM. Yes, love your own. It was just recently written by Jem Cubil. If you remember him, he's one of the grand finalists in Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2. From then, I believed that he really has the voice and the looks plus he's really kind. ( yiee, kilig  na yan :">) Just kidding. Hahaha. =)) But really, he has those qualities. Sobrang papuri ko ata sayo? Hahahaha. Sige na nga :)))

So, I then listened to his song (dahil sa sobrang kulit niya) :))) Joke lang ulit. Anyway, when I finished listening to the song, all along I thought that it was originally sang by another person. I thought that it was a cover. It was only until the middle of our "short conversation" that I discovered that it was actually an original composition. It's a great song, if you listen to it. :) So...listen to it, now :) Here's the song :) Enjoy listening and comments about the song would be appreciated. Naks =))) Gumaganon. Ako ba sumulat? Hahaha!

Again, here's the song :) Album na lang kulang oh =))

Crazy Little Thing Called Love♥

I just finished watching Crazy Little Thing Called Love, again. And I just felt like blogging :) Well it was shown on ABS-CBN so I just watched it 'coz I know that it's a great movie. The first time I watched it was 2 or 3 years ago and I really loved the movie. Many people could really relate to it, especially the "having a crush" part. Of course, all of us (I think) have crushes and there were times we would want them to notice us, right? That's what Nam did in this movie, she really exerted effort just to make Shone notice her. But she didn't know that ever since, Shone already liked her. Nagkahiyaan lang pala sila. </3 But in the end, they still ended up together. Kilig :"> Even if you're not really in a relationship or you don't have that special someone, you'll still feel the"kilig". Just like me :"> Plus the factor that Mario Maurer is so cute. And, Mario Maurer & Baifern look good together :) Haha, there. :) I just wanted to share that. For those who haven't watched the movie, watch it now! :) I'm sure you won't regret it. Promise. You can actually learn a lot from the movie. Really.

Saying you're okay, even if deep inside you're hurting. :'(
The saddest part of the movie </3
They really look good together♥
If you're really meant for each other then one day, you'll eventually end up together :)
Even if it takes nine years :)

There, I just wanted to share this wonderful movie that I won't get tired of watching over and over again. It makes me think that someday there will also be someone for me... Oh no, corny + cheesy =)))) That is so not me. Hahaha :)))) And, the captions for some of the photos... I just made that up hahaha. Sorry, I think I'm still affected by the movie and the fact that it's almost 2 am now. :)))) So, good night everyone. :)

KID AT HEART♥

Another late post, 1 month late :| I know, I shouldn't repeat this anymore. I'll try to blog right after an event happened. I'll TRY :))

So last September 1, my super duper cute nephew celebrated his 1st birthday. We went to Fontana to spend his birthday there, overnight with the family♥ I really love spending time with my family especially if it's an out of town trip just like this one. We went there on a weekend, it was definitely a great weekend together with the family. My nephew's name by the way is Kryx. Pretty cool huh? :) His whole name is Kren Ryxell. :) Really cool name, unique right? Hahaha. So amazed with his name.

Since it's his 1st birthday, there was a kid's party with a magic show and all. It was just simple but definitely fun. I felt like a kid again. I missed being a kid and I can't believe that in a few months time, I'll no longer be a teen. :( I feel so old, ew. Oh well, only my age changes. I'm still a kid at heart.

Some of our vanity pictures while on our way to Fontana :)

My face is so big :O
With Maui :) btw, she's my niece and she's older than me.
I know what you're thinking now: "What?" "How?"
'coz that's how it is. Haha! :)
That's Kryx! I just wanna show you his outfit. Cutie! :)
While walking around Fontana.

KID AT HEART♥

Believe. Dream. Make It Happen.

When we were kids, this question is always asked to us; "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Since then, I always had the same answer, I want to be a doctor someday. Most of the kids back then have that for an answer but only a few of them would actually pursue that dream. As I always say, it has always been my dream to be a doctor someday. I even remember telling that on national television, when I was interviewed for Knowledge Channel back then. So ever since, I know that I will be a doctor one day.

This school year, I planned to go to medical school but there are just some things that quite didn't work out. My sister kept telling me that maybe those are signs that I'm not meant to be in med school, that being a doctor is not my future. I don't want to believe her but at one point, I started thinking about it and suddenly there were so many questions that were running on my mind. Questions that I can't answer that time.

"What if I'm not really meant to be a doctor?"

"What if there's another profession that's right for me?"

"What if I won't be happy if I really end up being a doctor?"

"What if I can't do this?"

"What if all these years I just believed that it's my dream but it really isn't?"

These questions have been on my mind for quite some time. There would be times at night, when I would just stop and think. And for the record, I didn't like those nights. There would be times that I would think whether I just grew up believing that it is my dream. But I'm glad I had those nights to let me think about things. I'm not getting any younger, at this point I should already know what I want in life. But why am I having doubts?

I've been a bum for three months and because of that I had a lot of time to think. To think whether I would continue to med school or I should find another profession that will be best for me. I admit that besides being a doctor, there are a lot of things I wanna be. I wanna try new things. But still, being a doctor is my priority. The time I had to think made me realize a lot of things. My love for acting, dancing or simply performing had always been there. I thought of trying things that would show my passion for those things and now, I'm actually considering it. Now that I have all the free time. If the right time comes for me to do those things, why not.

The nights of thinking made me realize that I really really really want to be a doctor. But now that I still have a year off, I will do things that would not be that related to medicine because once I go to med school, most probably I can't do any of the things I mentioned above because I will dedicate all my time in studying. Yes, I already planned it. Starting next school year, I will always be studying and I'm actually ready for that. I'm ready to turn my childhood dream into a reality.

At this moment, I have all the answers I needed.

"I know that I'm meant to be a doctor."

"There's a probability that there would be another profession waiting for me, but as I said being a doctor would be number one on my list."

"I know that I will be happy once I end up being a doctor for it is what I want."

"I can do this! With the help of my family and with the guidance of the Lord."

"All these years, I believed that it is my dream and until now I will still keep on believing that this is my dream and I'm ready to  make it happen."

Can't wait for next season!

It was a tough loss for the De La Salle Green Archers last Saturday and to think that they lost to the Ateneo Blue Eagles. But, there is nothing to be ashamed of. A young team like the Green Archers made it to the Final Four, that's something right? And with that, we can definitely see a brighter future ahead of them. They could even win the title next season if they want to, just look at how they played this season.

I can say that the DLSU-ADMU game last Saturday was a great one. It was actually the best game that I've watched between the two ever since I studied in La Salle. The crowd during the game was again, awesome. It was a really tight game and Ateneans must admit that at one point, they became nervous. DLSU gave them a great fight. But there are just some things that didn't go in La Salle's way. I don't like to put blame just because La Salle lost but I just couldn't help it. I know that there's a foul that should've been called on the last few seconds of the game but no one admitted it. Even if I'm not an expert in basketball, I know when it's a foul. It was that obvious. But I guess, that's part of the game. You win some, you lose some. It was just depressing that they lost when they actually had the chance to win.

Now, all I can say is congratulations. Congratulations to the DLSU Green Archers for making it this far. You definitely made all the Lasallians proud of being one. Not only did you bring DLSU back to the final four, but you also showed everyone how determined you are in every game and how proud you are of your school. You made us feel how great it is to be a Lasallian. You didn't just play for the school because you had to but because you want to. And we thank you for that. We should also thank Coach Gee Abanilla for all his effort in every game. Thank you for being there for the Green Archers. Well done!

Yutien Andrada.

During that game, it was Yutien Andrada who really stepped up which gave him a total of 17 points for that game plus the rebounds and blocks, solid blocks. I know he'll even do great next season. Great job for Yutien Andrada! :)
Arnold van Opstal.

We should also give credits to Arnold van Opstal for the way he played this season. He truly made an impact for the Green Archers. He helped in rebounding and of course, blocking. He made shots that really helped the team. Again, can't wait for how he'll be playing next season.
Norbert Torres.

Norbert Torres wouldn't be forgotten this season. Even if there were games that he wasn't at his best, there were still games wherein he made a difference and he really stepped up which then was the way for DLSU to be in the final four. We will be seeing a much tougher Norbert Torres next season.
LA Revilla.

LA Revilla, even though he hasn't fully recovered yet, he still played for the last few games of DLSU and he still made an impact for the team. He was there when the team needed him just like in their games against FEU. Let's just wait until he's really okay and I'm sure he'll be doing big for the team. Again and again, looking forward to seeing him play next season.
Almond Vosotros.

This is the man I would never forget, Almond Vosotros or as they call him Almond VosoTRES. He really played all out this season. It was definitely a great season for him. He makes his three point shots even way beyond the arc. And what's good about him, he makes those shots when the team needed it the most. His assists during their last game was also great. Excellent assists that he made that added to Yutien Andrada's points. He is also a fearless guy. No doubt. We'll be seeing more of him next season. I can't wait.
Jeron Teng.

The Rookie of the Year, Jeron Teng will be another addition to those guys you'll be looking forward to next season. It was just his first year and he already did great. What more next season? He could be at his best. He is also fearless when driving to the basket. He was a great addition to the team 'coz he's really great. Oh, and he's also part of the Mythical 5 this season. Wow!

Thomas Torres.

Another angle. This time, it's a photo from The Lasallian :)

Another guy I won't forget this season. Thomas Torres. He was really great and it's also his first playing year for DLSU. So, we would be seeing more of him in the coming seasons and I know he'll do well. Thomas Torres is the kind of player who really puts all his effort during the game, he plays with all his heart. I've been seeing him play since his high school days and from then on, I believed that he'll even be greater at this sport. He is the kind of player that doesn't really boast of what he can do. He's such a kind guy. And to prove that, he even helped Juami Tiongson of the Ateneo Blue Eagles when he had cramps. He didn't mind that he's from the other team, he helped because it was the right thing to do. Now that is sportsmanship. That is a true Lasallian. And I admit, I admire Thomas Torres. It was actually the first time I admired someone from the basketball team who plays well ever since I studied in La Salle. :))))))))

And of course, I wouldn't forget Jovet Mendoza and Joshua Webb. It's their last playing year and I know how sad they are. I actually felt sad when I saw them crying after the game. We should thank them for the five years they spent playing for La Salle. We can't deny the fact that they gave their 100% effort in every game. It's just that sometimes they can't make their shots, that's part of being a player. It's even sadder that some people are continually blaming Joshua Webb for the loss. Yes, he may have made wrong decisions during the game but that doesn't give us the right to say things about him. We don't know how hard it was for him. So, let's just thank him for all the years he spent for La Salle. Joshua Webb & Jovet Mendoza are true Lasallians. Again, thank you.

Jovet Mendoza.

Joshua Webb.
Real men aren't afraid to cry.
To Jovet Mendoza & Joshua Webb, good luck with your future careers.
Animo!

Credits to The Lasallian for all the photos above, except for one. :) Great pictures btw. :)

And to the other players: Tampus, Manguera, Dela Paz, Tallo, Paredes, Gotladera & Reyes, THANK YOU! See you next season! :) We know you'll all do great! :)

Again and again, I can't wait for next season. I know that we'll be seeing a much stronger and tougher DLSU team but with the same heart. There would be new players again. I really believe that they can win the title if they just believe in themselves. I will always be their number one fan. As I've said in my previous blog, I'm definitely a die hard Lasallian and I'm proud to be one. Animo La Salle! See you next season!

P.S. I would definitely want a La Salle jersey #16 or just a shirt:) HAHAHA :)))))))))))

Uh-oh.

It's been a while since I felt something like this. To actually have a crush on someone who is not a celebrity. And I'm not actually liking it... It's kinda hard to have a crush, you know. Ugh, why am I even blogging about this. I guess I just have to let it out. This too shall pass.  I wish.

Never Shall We Fail!

I told myself that I would blog once DLSU wins over FEU. That's why you're seeing this blog entry now. YES! DLSU won!!! I still can't get over that. Hahaha! I believe that the whole Lasallian community can't get over that. It was such an epic game. It was a do or die game which made it more epic. I'm not a basketball expert but I know a few things about it. I'm more of a basketball fan so I won't really be going into the details of the game. It would just be all based on my opinion and what I felt during the game.

Well, I wasn't really able to watch the game live at the MOA Arena. I planned to, but I wasn't able to get a ticket so I settled on watching the game on TV. Thank you to Studio 23 hahaha :)))) During the whole duration of the game, I never doubted the Archers. Well, ever since. I don't know why but once I support a team, I support them all the way. I'm such a fanatic. I'm also the kind of person who's really proud of the school I came from. Even before I entered La Salle, I always supported them. My sister may have influenced me :) But as I've said in my previous blogs, DLSU was my dream school. Anyway, so much for explaining why I'm a die hard Lasallian. Let's talk more about the game yesterday.

During the first quarter, I liked how Jovet Mendoza stepped up in the game. It's his last playing year so I guess he really gave it all. So, kudos to him! For almost the entire game, FEU led by as much as 6 points  and even 10 in the last quarter and DLSU was always trying to cut the lead. It was only in the 4th quarter that DLSU was able to take the lead with only less than a minute left. I have to give credits to Norbert Torres. He really did a great job and dominated the inside. He scored 21 points if I'm not mistaken. "Fear the Bear" really suits him. I hope that he'll be the same for their next game which is a really big game, a game against ADMU. Another person that really played well would be Arnold van Opstal, he even made an epic dunk that blew the crowd away. The combination of N. Torres and AVO was great. I think we would be seeing more of that. Of course, we shouldn't forget about the efforts made by Jeron Teng and Almond Vosotros. Even if Vosotros wasn't totally in his game, he still managed to get some 3s when the team needed it the most. From the moment Vosotros made a 3, everything went in their way. Jeron Teng was as usual, great. He is not afraid to take shots, even hard ones. He would really drive to the basket, that's how fearless he is. I heard that he's the Rookie of the Year and even part of the Mythical 5? Well he deserved that. Congrats to him! He played well for the Archers. La Salle was lucky to have him. La Salle was lucky to have a team like what we have now. And save the best for last...(may favoritism? hahaha!) Thomas Torres did great during their game. And I'm not being biased. Well, he's not that great during the whole game but it was his shot that somehow made a change in the game. That's why he was named as the "Game Changing Player"? I'm not sure if that's right but it's pretty close to that. Anyway, Thomas Torres was really able to step up when LA Revilla was out for I think, 5 games. That made him show everyone his capabilities. Hoping that he'll do great for the next game. And of course, we also have to give credits to Coach Gee Abanilla. It was his first year as the coach for DLSU and he was able to help the team be in the Final 4. Well done, Coach Gee!:) And, can I just add... The La Salle crowd during the game was awesome. Even if I'm just watching it on TV, I can clearly hear them cheer with all their heart. Hoping for the same crowd on Saturday's game.

Their next game won't be easy and a lot of people are thinking that they would lose just like what happened during the eliminations but for me, anything can still happen. If the team would just play their game, I believe they can do it. Sabi nga nila, bilog ang bola. The game isn't over until it's over. They never surrendered and they are giving their 101% effort when they are playing. Just like what most Lasallians are saying; they are playing with all their heart. PUSO kung PUSO. They may not be a perfect team but they made all the Lasallians proud of the whole team. Whatever happens, win or lose, (I hope it's a win though) they made DLSU proud of them. Now, I'm excited for the DLSU-ADMU game. We're watching it live so I hope La Salle wins. I'm ready to cheer for them and sing the Alma Mater Hymn first ('coz you know, the winner gets to sing it first). So there, I just hope that it would be another epic game and another epic win for the Archers!

Hail, Hail

Alma Mater,
Hail to De La Salle!
We'll hold your banner high and bright,
A shield of green and white,
We'll fight to keep your glory bright,
And never shall we fail,
Hail to thee our Alma Mater!
Hail! Hail! Hail!

BELIEVE.

Trip to Tagaytay!

We went to Tagaytay last August 25 :) What a super late post. Hahaha :)))) I was with Ate Gigi, Kaela, Jade, Nyel & Marco. So, I woke up earlier than the usual during that day 'coz I need to be in Cubao by 8am and I actually made it on time. Good job for me. Hahaha! Anyway, I think we left at around 9am and we arrived there at almost 11? I think. At first, we didn't know where to go. We went to so many places :) We went to Josephine's then to Leslie's then to another place wherein I forgot what it's called. Haha! Then we also went to Starbucks and can I just say, we went to Starbucks three times that day, three! :))) We went there because of Marco. He really likes coffee. As in. That's why he's the only one who had coffee on our second & third visit to Starbucks. I also like coffee but I don't think I can have that amount of coffee in one day. :)) That's too much for me. So, I really had fun that day and I was so full. Sobrang dami naming nakain, sobra talaga at sobrang dami kong tawa nung araw na yun. :))

Now, I'd like to share some of our pictures that day. We actually have lots of pictures. Sorry, we're vain. :)
I just made gifs for some of the pictures:) Dahil sa sobrang dami ng pictures namin hahaha :))))

On our way to Tagaytay :)

And I'd like you to meet this couple...
Nyel & Marco.
What a perfect couple!
I'm really happy for the both of you and I wish that you'll be together forever.
Ansabeh?! Cheesy lang hahaha! But seriously, you deserve to be happy :)

What a fun day indeed, looking forward to more trips like this. :)
