I just got home from Resorts World with some of my high school friends and I would just like to share with you our experience. Since I have tickets for the musical play, The King and I, I decided to invite some of my close friends to watch with me. I was excited to watch the play 'coz first of all I do enjoy watching such shows and another thing would be that this is the first time I'm gonna watch a musical play with my high school friends 'coz most of the time I watch with my family. :) The show lasted for almost three hours. Well, we couldn't help but be bored in some parts because it was too long but I can personally attest that the show was great. I envy their voices. I wish I had a voice like that of Monique Wilson (she played Mrs. Anna). Hahaha! That's my hidden dream. Hihi :)) But that will just be a dream, oh well. :) Anyway, going back to the show... The cast were great, they portrayed their roles well. Perfect casting indeed. I also liked their set and design, it was really beautiful. And, I loved their costumes! It was colorful, elegant and all. Etcetera etcetera. Hahaha! You'll get me when you've watched the show. Well, there. This was just a short critic (yes, critic talaga?) of what we watched earlier. I was glad that I was able to watch it with my close friends. Till the next play❤
Noong nakaraang linggo, Nobyembre 14, nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon na makanood ng isang dula sa CCP. Salamat sa isa sa aking malalapit na kaibigan :) Ang aming napanood ay ang Battalia Royale na talaga namang sumikat. Nagsimula itong dulang ito nitong taon lamang dito sa Pilipinas at ang napanood namin noong isang linggo ang maaaring huling beses na nilang ipalabas ito kaya ito ay tinawag na Battalia Zero. Noon ko pa naririnig ang tungkol sa Battalia at noon ko pa din ginustong manood nito ngunit wala lamang akong makasama at hindi ko alam kung saan makakakuha ng ticket. Hahaha! Nga pala, kung mapapansin niyo ngayon lang ako talaga nagsulat ng purong Tagalog (well, may halong konting English haha) Sa tingin ko lang, mas mababahagi ko ng maayos kapag sa Tagalog ko ito isinulat. Okay, balik tayo sa kwento ko, noong nakaraang Miyerkules nga ay nakanood ako ng Battalia Royale kasama ang mga malalapit kong kaibigan simula noong ako'y bata pa. Oo, ganun na kami katagal magkakasama hahaha :))) Ayun, biglaan lang naman talaga yung panonood namin. Bigla lang kaming niyaya ng isa pa naming kaibigan na nago-OJT sa CCP. Kaya salamat Levi :) Bago pa kami manood ng dula ay mayroon na akong ideya sa kung ano ang mangyayari. Sabi nga nila, hindi ito karaniwang dula na kung saan ay nakaupo ka lamang at pinapanood lang ang mga karakter sa entablado. Ito ay ibang-iba doon. Una sa lahat, hindi kami nakaupo ng maayos at walang permanenteng entablado. Galaw ng galaw ang mga karakter at kasama sa paggalaw nila ay ang paggalaw din ng mga manonood. Pangalawa, hindi din sa isang teatro na may entablado at mga komportableng upuan ginanap ang dula. Ito ay ginanap sa labas lamang ng CCP, sa may gilid at sa may rampa. Habang tumatakbo ang kwento ay tumatakbo din kami paikot-ikot sa may gilid at harap ng CCP. Tumakbo ang dula ng halos 4 na oras at masasabi kong nakakapagod ito ngunit masaya. Hindi masaya, dahil nagpapatayan ang mga karakter, masaya dahil na-enjoy namin ang bawat eksena na talagang pinaghandaan ng bawat karakter ng dula.
Malamang ay alam naman ninyo na ang Battalia Royale ay puro patayan. Ito ay tungkol sa 40 estudyante na iniwan sa isang lugar para "maglaro". Ang laro nila ay hindi simple, kailangan nilang magpatayan at dapat ay isa lamang sa kanila ang matitira pagkatapos ng 8 oras na paglalaro. At kapag higit sa 1 ang natira, iaactivate ang mga collar sa kanilang mga leeg na siya ring papatay sa kanilang lahat. May choice ang bawat estudyante: ang sumali sa laro at makipagpatayan para sa buhay niya o ang piliing huwag lumaban at huwag makisali sa patayan. Ngunit, may choice nga ba talaga sila? Parang wala. Sa huli isa lamang talaga ang natira at siya pa yung taong nagsabing hindi siya lalaban at hindi makikipagpatayan. Ironic. Ngunit, wala siyang nagawa eh. Kinailangan niya itong gawin. Kailangan nga ba? Siguro oo, siguro hindi. Ewan. Buhay na ang pinag-uusapan eh. Masyado nang malalim kung ito ang pagbabasehan.
Kung sa iba, isang dula lamang ito na puro kathang-isip lamang at wala lang, para sa akin isa itong dula na maraming gustong iparating sa mga manonood nito. Sa tingin ko bawat eksena sa dulang ito ay maaaring ihalintulad sa kung ano talaga ang nangyayari sa ating bansa ngayon. Ang patayan na naganap sa dula ay para ring ang karahasan na nangyayari dito sa ating bansa. Ang bawat linya na sinabi nila sa kanilang dula ay talagang makatotohanan at angkop sa kung anong nangyayari ngayon tulad na lamang nang pag-uusap ni Victor at Kakai. Pinag-usapan nila ang tungkol sa pagiging mabuti, para kay Kakai kasi choice ang pagiging mabuti pero ayon kay Victor hindi choice ang pagiging mabuti kundi ito ang dapat. (Sana tama ang pagkaka-alala ko sa mga sinabi nila) Para sakin, sa totoo lang ang sinabi ni Victor ang una kong pinaniwalaan dahil dati pa lang ito na ang alam kong tama ngunit nang magsalita na si Kakai at sinabing choice ang pagiging mabuti at nang magbigay pa siya ng halimbawa, bigla akong naguluhan. Minsan kasi, kahit hindi natin gusto bigla na lang tayong nakakagawa ng hindi mabuti. Minsan kasi ang paggawa ng hindi mabuti ay maaaring magdulot ng tama. Ironic man kung pakinggan yun pero yun ang totoo. Minsan sa buhay natin kakailanganin nating gumawa ng hindi gaanong kabuti para magdulot ng tama. Kung minsan kasi ganun talaga e. Mahirap man intindihin pero alam ko na at one point, naintindihan niyo din ako. Makakaisip din kayo ng sarili niyong halimbawa ng sinasabi ko. Isa pang gusto kong ibahaging parte ng dula ay ang pagtatanong sa manonood kung gusto pang ipagpatuloy ang pagpapatayan nila o ihinto na lang. Bago pa magsimula ang dula ay alam ko ng itatanong ito at sabi ko sa sarili ko na sa tingin ko pipiliin kong ihinto ang laro. Hindi dahil gusto kong ipakita na may moralidad ako at nagpapakabait lamang, ito ang gusto kong piliin dahil sa tingin ko kung totoo lahat ng nangyayari, ito ang dapat. Sa pagdedesisyon hindi ko inisip na dula lamang ito, inisip ko na kung totoo nga ang lahat ng ito, ano ang dapat gawin. Yun nga ay ang ihinto ang laro at matapos na ang karahasan at patayan at makauwi na lamang ang mga estudyante. Desidido na ko na ito ang pipiliin ko sa oras na kami ay tanungin. Ngunit nung dumating na ang oras na ito, biglang bumaliktad ang mundo at napunta ako sa grupo na pumiling ipagpatuloy ang laro. Nadala ako sa mga kaibigan ko na sinabing ito ang piliin namin. Ngunit nung nandoon na ako sa grupong iyon at pinagtapat ang dalawang grupo, parang gusto kong lumipat. Hindi ko alam pero parang nakonsensiya ako, maririnig mo kasi sa background ang mga estudyante na sumisigaw at nagmamakaawa na ihinto na ang laro at sinasabayan pa ng kabilang grupo sa pagsabing wala daw kaming puso at walang awa. Alam kong dula lamang ito, pero hindi ba't yun ang gustong gawin ng dula? Gusto nitong maguluhan ang mga isipan namin sa kung ano ba ang dapat at hindi dapat, ang tama o mali. Ito na nga ang nangyari sa aking isipan, naguluhan ako. Ngunit wala pa din akong nagawa at nanatili na lamang sa grupo ng mga "walang puso". At nanalo pa ang grupo namin at nagpatuloy ang laro at madami pa ang namatay. Maaaring sabihin ng karamihan na dula lamang ito at ano naman kung ipagpatuloy ang laro, hindi naman ito totoong nangyayari. Maaaring totoo ngang hindi ito tunay na pangyayari pero sana ang bawat tao na pumunta sa grupong pinuntahan ko din ay nagkaroon din ng ganung pagtatalo sa sariling isipan. Ang huling parte ng dula na gusto kong ibahagi ay nang muli kaming tinanong kung dapat bang patayin si Timothy. Kung titignan mo si Timothy, sobrang bait niya. Makikita mo talaga yun sa kanya. Kaya naman nung tanungin kami hindi na ako nagdalawang-isip na hayaan siyang patayin. Kaya't binoto kong iligtas siya at nanalo naman kami. Ngunit nang paalis na dapat si Timothy bigla na lamang siyang binaril. Wala nga talagang maaaring makaligtas na lang ng basta basta. Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero nanghina ako nang bigla siyang barilin. Seryoso, nakakalungkot yung part na yun :( Ang dami nga naman talagang paasa sa mundo. Tsss. -_- Ayun lang naman yung mga part ng dula na gustong-gusto kong ibahagi sa iba.
Seryoso, ang ganda ng pagkakagawa ng dulang ito. Magaling at malikhain. Namiss ko tuloy bigla ang teatro ng sobra sobra. Buong high school life ko ba naman nasa teatro ako. Sana maranasan ko ulit ang buhay teatro. Iba e. =)
Isang kakaibang karanasan ang panonood ng Battalia Royale. Kudos sa Sipat Lawin Ensemble! Napakagaling ng bawat karakter sa dula.

This is such a beautiful song. It was indeed perfect for the last part of the Twilight Saga. And can I just say that Breaking Dawn Part 2 was awesome! I didn't really expect that but it was. I don't know about you guys but I felt sad while this song was playing at the latter part of the movie. This song made the movie a lot better. Everything was just perfect.

I'll be sharing another song and it's another OPM. Yes, love your own. It was just recently written by Jem Cubil. If you remember him, he's one of the grand finalists in Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2. From then, I believed that he really has the voice and the looks plus he's really kind. ( yiee, kilig na yan :">) Just kidding. Hahaha. =)) But really, he has those qualities. Sobrang papuri ko ata sayo? Hahahaha. Sige na nga :)))

I just finished watching Crazy Little Thing Called Love, again. And I just felt like blogging :) Well it was shown on ABS-CBN so I just watched it 'coz I know that it's a great movie. The first time I watched it was 2 or 3 years ago and I really loved the movie. Many people could really relate to it, especially the "having a crush" part. Of course, all of us (I think) have crushes and there were times we would want them to notice us, right? That's what Nam did in this movie, she really exerted effort just to make Shone notice her. But she didn't know that ever since, Shone already liked her. Nagkahiyaan lang pala sila. </3 But in the end, they still ended up together. Kilig :"> Even if you're not really in a relationship or you don't have that special someone, you'll still feel the"kilig". Just like me :"> Plus the factor that Mario Maurer is so cute. And, Mario Maurer & Baifern look good together :) Haha, there. :) I just wanted to share that. For those who haven't watched the movie, watch it now! :) I'm sure you won't regret it. Promise. You can actually learn a lot from the movie. Really.

There, I just wanted to share this wonderful movie that I won't get tired of watching over and over again. It makes me think that someday there will also be someone for me... Oh no, corny + cheesy =)))) That is so not me. Hahaha :)))) And, the captions for some of the photos... I just made that up hahaha.
