Yay for April!!!

So, what happened during the month of April? I didn't have any blog entries for that month. SAD. :( Oh well... Another late post. :( But...as the saying goes, better late than never. =)) Palusot ng mga tao hahaha! Anyway, let's go back to April. :) April was a really great month for me. A lot of unforgettable events happened during this month. Events that I got to spend with my high school friends, college friends, new found friends and of course my family.

First thing I did for the month of April: bake!!! YAY! I tried to make some crinkles and luckily it tasted good! According to the people who ate it. Hahaha! But really, they said it was even great. Especially my nephews. They loved it♥♥♥ hihi.
Here's a photo of the crinkles I baked =)

During this month, I was still able to exercise which is really a good thing. I've been doing a certain workout for almost everyday :)) naks :p Gumaganon. =)))) Hahahahaha. Pagbigyan.

It was also in April when I got the chance to catch up with some of my closest friends, Eunice & Maria together with Betbet (I see her a lot haha together with other HS friends). Even if it was just for a short while I still had a lot of fun. We were able to talk about a lot of things. I really missed them.

Then, I got the chance to go to Laguna together with the family of Kuya Ronnie. Adopted na nila ko hahaha. Laging kasama sa mga lakad nila =))) We went to a resort in Los Banos Laguna but I wasn't able to swim. Well, I was too lazy to swim that time hahaha! 'Coz it was super duper hot plus girl reasons... :) But I still enjoyed watching my youngest nephew swim. So, I'll just share his pictures haha.

Isn't he such a cutie. :">

Almost everyday bonding with Chop, Oliver & Bet last April. Kung hindi sa mall, sa iba't ibang bahay naman. Perks of living close to each other. Hihi. :) No dull moments with them. Umaapaw kasi sa mga kwento hahaha! I'll definitely miss hanging out with them for almost everyday when classes start. :( That's why it was a great decision to enjoy every remaining day of my summer with people I love♥

I was still able to attend the novena & mass at St. Jude every Thursday which is a great thing. Will try my best to continue attending even if classes start. :) Hoping that my schedule permits. And during the month of April, I was glad that I was able to go to St. Pio during the weekends. Well, not every weekend. It has been a weekly tradition for Kuya Ronnie's family. :)

Last April 27, I attended a wedding and I was even the commentator. It was my first time to have that kind of role. :) Btw, it was the wedding of my best friend's cousin. It has been so long since the last wedding I went to. I can't even remember it. Anyway, the wedding I just attended was really a beautiful one. Not just because of the color motif *ehem purple* but because of the ceremony and program at the reception as well. Really beautiful :) Everything was well-organized. :) I had a great time during that wedding 'coz I was able to bond with Eunice again. Namiss ko eh =))

With bheztie :)

I got to spend a whole day with the team last April! It was a lot of fun! Started with a lunch at Sambokojin c/o Dale. Thanks again for the treat Dale =) Then, we went bowling and played lazer tag after. And then, dinner :))))) It was indeed a fun day with the team. :)

Credits to Oscar, Jan, & Barj's instagram for the photos below. =)) 'coz I don't have that much photos that day. :)

It was also in April when I finally got the chance to join the Amazing G.R.A.C.E. Yes, finally! Haha! After how many camps that passed. I'm now a camp graduate for the new module. Yun oh! hahahaha! If you wanna know more about the camp I'm saying, read about it here. :) It was a fun-filled weekend!:) Blessed that I got to meet a lot of new people that eventually became my friends and family as well.

Militarami Shooters.
Batch 17.

And, just 5 days after the camp I was able to attend the orientation for camp assistants wannabe. Naks, nagpapaka-active habang may time pa :) Hopefully, I could be a camp assistant for the upcoming camps.

OC Batch 6 :)

And lastly, the one I really wanna share to everyone...

I'm officially enrolled last April 11! =))
I'm now a med student. Yiee. Sarap pakinggan :)
This is it!!! EXCITED & NERVOUS! :)

So now you know why my April deserves a YAY! Hahaha! Wait till you hear about how my May went. It's even better. Till my next post. :)

Sunday, March 31, 2013

Oh, March...

This has got to be the most boring month of my 2013. Well, we only had three months as of now=)) But still, it was kinda boring. If I could just forget my March :'( Well, not all of it. I still had good days though. Let me just share it to you guys :)

March went by so fast.

One of the good days I had was when I was watching volleyball games. Oh, happy days. Where have you been? Anyway, the final games were in March :) I wasn't able to watch the first game live but luckily I was able to watch the second one which was actually the last one as well. The Lady Spikers finished the series in two games =)) Yes, proud to be a Lasallian. 3PEAT!!!

Animo La Salle!!!

My Thursdays were still the same. I wake up at 5:30 in the morning to prepare for the 8am mass and novena at St. Jude Thaddeus. I still love my Thursday mornings♥

I still get to watch my favorite TV series :) But I'm just sad that all of them are now on break. 90210 and TVD will be back on April 18, I think. And PLL will be on break until June :( No :'( Huhu. Ang babaw ko, sorry. =)

Another good thing about this month, I still get to hangout with my high school friends. Choppie's birthday was in this month and she treated us for a dinner at BGC :) Fun night with friends :)

High school friends

Mercato with the family has been one of the good nights I had this month :) FOOD♥♥♥

FOOD was a big part of my happiness this March. =) Without food I would be so sad. :( HAHAHA. OA much. =)))) But really. :)

Gotta love Japanese food
Ate this when I had colds =)

This cutie right here just made my March better :) Who can resist this baby right?

I was able to be with my Santugon family this month. Even for just a few hours :)
Love them♥

It was also this month wherein I got to go to St. Pio Parish Church =) I was still able to jog and exercise but not that much. :( I need to have the perfect motivation...

I was able to bake chocolate chip cookies again =) Yay for me! Haha!

Since my niece requested it for her graduation, I gave it to her as a gift =)

I was also able to make some ice cream :)

Since it's March, graduations are everywhere. I attended the graduation of Kaela, my niece :) Then, we had dinner at Sambokojin. Food again♥♥♥ See? Food has really been a big part of my March =))))

Then, on the last Tuesday of the month, I got the chance to see my college friends again =) Spent almost the whole day with them. Missed hanging out with the team :)

And lastly...spent my Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and a little of Black Saturday at Fontana in Clark =) I didn't forget to do Visita Iglesia last Thursday. It has been a yearly tradition for us already :)

Okay, I take back what I wrote above. Looks like my March wasn't really that bad. It was actually pretty good. Well, if you just look at the things I wrote above but between those days, I definitely had some rough days. Days wherein I would just feel sad. Problems may arise but that doesn't mean that God's punishing us. It's actually His way of making us a lot stronger. Just like what most people say, "He won't give us problems we can't handle. Every problem has a solution. If there's no solution, then it's not really a problem." I guess problems are really part of our lives. We cannot have a perfect life anyway. I may have a lot of down moments this March but I know that everything will get better. April will be a lot better, right? :) Lesson I learned? Life will not always be the way we want it, there would be times wherein it will go the other way but it will still end at the destination we wanted it to be. =)

My First Paskuhan Experience.

Nakiki-Paskuhan lang. Hahaha!

Yesterday, December 21, 2012 (supposedly the end of the world, NOT:p) was the date set for Paskuhan which is a yearly celebration of the University of Santo Tomas. I’ve heard about it for years now and it was only this year when I decided to “experience” Paskuhan. I went there with my high school friends. Thanks to Oliver (he’s studying in UST), we got the chance to enter. :) I’ve been hearing a lot about Paskuhan, on how fun it is to be there and how people really enjoyed every Paskuhan. That’s why I was very eager to go this year, and luckily I was able to. UST was filled with so many people. Ang saya lang =)) There was a concert with different bands and there was a fireworks display and can I just say, it was so beautiful! Halatang pinagkagastusan :)) All in all, my first Paskuhan experience was definitely great and it will surely be one of the memories in 2012 that I will keep. And also, can I just add this: UST really looks beautiful at night, with all the Christmas lights and decorations. Because of that, you could really feel that Christmas is just around the corner. It was a great night that was well spent with great people in a great place. Till next year, hopefully.

Let me share some of our Paskuhan photos =))

Fireworks :)

One bad thing after Paskuhan: the trash.

Beautiful lights♥

Ansabeh nung lights =))
