Love you Green Archers♥♥♥

Sorry for this very late blog post of mine. Was supposed to post this right after the game but wasn't able to finish so yeah, here it is anyway :))

What a heartbreaking loss. :( Really sad about the outcome of the game. I was already expecting an overtime but then there goes Mac Belo, making that 3 point shot with just a second left. WHAAAT!! That was my reaction with what happened. You don't know how depressed I was haha! I'm sure all Lasallians and fans of DLSU were so down that moment. We were all hoping that La Salle goes back to the finals. But no :( Sadly, it didn't happen. Funny how me and my sister cried after realizing that La Salle lost. Well..we're really die hard fans. Lalo na ko. Hahaha! Would really defend and fight for DLSU. School spirit, as what most people would say. That's just who I am. Proud to be a Lasallian. Forever.

I know we couldn't do anything about it now. What's done is done. But I just really wanna blog about the Green Archers. Just to share how big of a fan I am haha. Not just that. But to really commend how great the Archers played this season. I know how bad they want to win in every game. It's just that other teams also wanted the same. The Archers just failed to execute better. NU and FEU both deserved to be in the finals. Kinapos lang talaga ang DLSU. Sobrang panghihinayang lang talaga. But still, they did great.

It's just sad that Almond Vosotros, Norbert Torres and Yutien Andrada won't be playing for DLSU anymore. Thank you for the five years that you've played for La Salle. Thank you! So sad that they couldn't end their career with a championship.

It just breaks my heart upon seeing Almond Vosotros seated in the middle of the court after the game and really depressed. Wanna hug him! Aww. :'( You'll forever be my crush Almond. With the way you play and your smile. Hihi. Good luck with everything!

Norbert Torres.

Norbear!! DLSU will definitely miss this big guy. The way you dominate inside and how determined you are to get those inside points, those will definitely be missed. Good job Norbert Torres!

Thank you Yutien Andrada!

Yutien Andrada! A crowd favorite. Too bad you weren't able to get a lot of playing time for the past two seasons. But still, whenever you're inside the court you never fail to prove your worth. Thank you Yutien! :)

For the other players who still have more playing years, thank you as well. For all the hard work you've put in every training and game you guys have. For proving to every Lasallian that the team is worth cheering for. Thank you for having that animo within you.

Jeron Teng.

Jeron Teng!!! Who will ever forget this guy? How great he played this season? Definitely has the right to be called the King Archer. For sure, he'll bounce back next season!

Jason Perkins. cto.
Jason Perkins. Hefty lefty. What a season for this guy. What a great player. Can't wait to see him again next season!

Thomas Torres.
My crush ever since he was in HS. :">

Thomas Torres. Too bad he got injured early in the season. But for sure, he's more eager to play by next year. Can't wait for him to fully recover.

Julian Sargent. What a revelation. Hitting many 3s. Wow. What a great rookie! Excited to see him play next season.

Arnold van Opstal.
credits to The Lasallian.
AVO! My crush when it comes to looks and body hehe Although there are times wherein you weren't delivering. At least there were more days wherein you did. And thank you for that. See you next season!

Prince Rivero.
Prince Rivero. The Prince Archer. This rookie really stepped up when he is needed.  A lot of shots that were badly needed by the team came from this kid. Really glad he's with La Salle.

Kib Montalbo. Quality minutes were given to him because of Thomas' injury. With the playing minutes he got, he definitely showed what he's capable of. Good job Kib!

Kayo pa din ang champion para samin!!!
Love you Green Archers♥♥♥ hihihi.
We may not have defended the crown but for sure the team will bounce back next season. Stronger and more determined! Can't wait for the new players!! DLSU will be a different team next season. Definitely a better team. ANIMO LA SALLE!!!

Walang kamatayang pagmamahal sa Pamantasan ng De La Salle!!!

*Btw, congratulations to the NU Bulldogs for winning their second championship after 60 years! Wow! Definitely a much deserved win! :))) Congrats also to the FEU Tamaraws! :) Next stop: UAAP Volleyball Season. Let's go Lady Spikers! :)

Forever a Lasallian.

I just have to have a blog post about the game yesterday for the UAAP Women's Volleyball Finals. I won't really be saying that much unlike my other posts about the DLSU-ADMU match-up. I just wanna say how proud I am to be a Lasallian right now. Others might say that we're being too shallow by saying that but trust me, it's absolutely true. It's just one of the many reasons why I am proud to be a Lasallian. In their game yesterday, the Lady Spikers really showed the heart of a champion. Even if they were down two sets. Yes, you read it right. Down by two sets. Hmmm, I'm sure that I've seen that before. Round 1 meeting, remember? =)) Hihi. They never gave up and they will never ever give up. I'm sure of that. That's how bad they want the title. Not just for themselves but for the entire Lasallian community as well and they'll get it 'coz they always play with all their heart. And that will always be the key.

I have to commend how the girls played yesterday. Well, not all of them were great but they were still cheering for each other. I guess that's really important. Melissa Gohing was definitely great. She might not be the one that is always in the limelight but we should really credit her for all the effort she's doing just to save the ball. She dives and rolls just to keep the ball in play. And she's been doing that for five years for DLSU. That deserves a standing ovation. For me, she's the one that really stood out during the game yesterday. But I'm not saying that Michelle Gumabao doesn't deserve the title as the player of the game yesterday. I guess Gumabao and Gohing just had different roles during the game. Gumabao was more of an attacker yesterday and it was her attacks during the latter part of the game that helped the team in bouncing back and it was great that she continued with the great hits until the end of the game. Gumabao was great yesterday during the last two sets. One problem I saw yesterday was their service error. There were just too many errors on the service line. Anyway, I have to commend Aby Marano as well. In every point they gain or lose, Aby was always there to cheer her teammates. She would always shout: "Tiwala at puso". That's what I liked about her. Showing what a team captain should be. And, her attacks yesterday was also great. But it wasn't that many but still great. Ara Galang wasn't really herself yesterday but when the points were needed she was there to deliver. She still had the highest points in yesterday's game. As what most people say, all respects for this girl. I was just sad that Mika Esperanza didn't play that much. Haha! She's one of my favorite players, that's why I was sad. =( =)) Hoping that next game, she'll play longer and better. :) Mika Reyes was also good yesterday and also Cyd Demecillo. =)

Loved this tweet of Aby Marano.

Hoping that they'd win their game on Wednesday and repeat the 3peat :) I'm also hoping that I can watch the game live. Sana makakuha ng tickets :) That would be great!

Again, I will always be the girl who's proud of her school. Whatever others say, I won't mind. As long as I'm not doing anything to harm others di ba?=)

I'll forever be proud to be a Lasallian. =)

Animo Fest.

Last February 8, Friday was the Animo Fest at De La Salle University. There were booths, rides, and a concert which was the main event that day plus the fireworks. I went there with the team :) My niece, my sister & her boyfriend were also there to celebrate. I don't know why but I really enjoyed that night. Maybe because of the company and the event itself. Well if you really know me, I love going to such events and that's why I enjoyed that night. And I couldn't miss it for the world. Haha! Even if we graduated already we made sure that we were able to attend the event together, although we weren't complete. :/ Hopefully next time, we would be. Again, I enjoyed the Animo Fest :)

Marriage booth :)
Just a little background about the two photos above :) We were walking around the Henry Sy Hall grounds, we just got there actually. Then, as we were walking a guy approached me and said that I stepped on an X sign. So I was asking myself; "What? I stepped on something?" Parang wala naman hahaha =)) He told me to go to their booth and guess what their booth was, the marriage booth. He made me choose, to bail out or to get married. :o I was actually thinking to choose the second one, hahaha! 'Coz I'm saving! And it's 50 pesos to bail out and I just got there. Lucky me :/ Anyway, a guy also stepped on the mark and was asked the same question. The guy who caught me stepping asked us to "get to know each other". Well, we just exchanged names. So, good thing my friends asked if I could exchange with someone else and the one in-charge agreed that's why Gillie & EJ were the ones who "got married". =))
